• "Services" refers to the RPC endpoints, website, block explorer, and related services provided by Datachain Foundation
• "User" or "you" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Services
• "FAT" or "DC FAT" refers to the native cryptocurrency of the Datachain Rope network
• "We", "us", or "our" refers to Datachain Foundation

2. Services Description

Datachain Rope provides:

• A decentralized blockchain network for processing transactions
• RPC endpoints for interacting with the network
• Block explorer services for viewing on-chain data
• Documentation and developer resources
• Wallet integration capabilities

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are not prohibited from using the Services under applicable law
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Use the Services for any illegal activity, including money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud

5. No Financial Advice

We do not provide any advice regarding:

• The value or future value of any cryptocurrency
• Whether to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency
• Tax implications of cryptocurrency transactions
• Legal status of cryptocurrency in any jurisdiction

6. Risks

You acknowledge and accept the following risks:

6.1 Technology Risks

• Blockchain technology is experimental and may have bugs or vulnerabilities
• Smart contracts may contain errors or be exploited
• Network upgrades or forks may affect your assets
• Quantum computing advances may impact cryptographic security

6.2 Market Risks

• Cryptocurrency values can fluctuate dramatically
• Liquidity may be limited
• Regulatory changes may impact cryptocurrency markets

6.3 Operational Risks

• Loss of private keys results in permanent loss of funds
• Sending transactions to incorrect addresses is irreversible
• Network downtime may temporarily prevent transactions

7. Intellectual Property

The Datachain Rope protocol is open source and available under the MIT License. However:

• The "Datachain" and "Datachain Rope" names and logos are trademarks of Datachain Foundation
• Website content, documentation, and marketing materials are protected by copyright
• You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission

8. Third-Party Services

Our Services may interact with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for:

• The availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services
• Any damages arising from your use of third-party services
• The privacy practices of third-party services

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) 100 EUR or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee:

• Continuous, uninterrupted access to the Services
• That the Services will be error-free
• That defects will be corrected within any specific timeframe

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice, if:

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
