2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Unlike many blockchain networks and RPC providers, we explicitly do not collect:

• IP Addresses: We do not log, store, or track IP addresses of users making RPC requests
• Wallet Addresses: We do not correlate wallet addresses with any identifying information
• Request Metadata: We do not log request origins, user agents, or request patterns
• Transaction Data: We do not store transaction details beyond what is publicly available on the blockchain
• Geolocation Data: We do not track or store geographic location information
• Device Information: We do not collect browser fingerprints or device identifiers

3. Publicly Available Blockchain Data

The Datachain Rope network is a public blockchain. By nature, certain information is publicly available to anyone:

• Transaction hashes and details
• Wallet addresses and balances
• Smart contract code and interactions
• Block data and network statistics

This publicly available on-chain data is accessible through our block explorer (dcscan.io) and RPC endpoints, but we do not correlate this data with any personal information.

4. RPC Endpoint Privacy

Our RPC endpoints are designed with privacy as a core principle:

4.1 No Logging Policy

All RPC requests are processed in memory without persistent logging. We do not maintain access logs, error logs, or any form of request history.

4.2 No Rate Limiting Tracking

Unlike many providers who track IPs for rate limiting, our infrastructure uses anonymous request counting that does not persist or identify users.

4.3 No Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics services on our RPC endpoints. Request statistics are aggregated anonymously for network health monitoring only.

5. Website Privacy

When you visit our website (datachain.network):

• We do not use tracking cookies
• We do not use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, etc.)
• We do not use advertising networks
• We do not collect form data unless you voluntarily submit it

6. Voluntary Information

If you voluntarily contact us or submit information (such as through project submission forms), we will only use that information for the stated purpose and will not share it with third parties without your consent.

7. Third-Party Services

Our website may contain links to third-party services (GitHub, Discord, etc.). These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

The Datachain Rope protocol includes built-in GDPR compliance features:

• Right to be Forgotten: Our controlled erasure protocol enables true data deletion while maintaining network integrity
• Data Minimization: We collect no personal data, adhering to the principle of data minimization
